Student Chapter

Our History

CMANA student chapter started in 2013 with a group of passionate students who decided to serve the Lord with their gifts and talents. We came together with the same vision of serving the Lord and formed a Facebook group that now has more than 600 members. We had our first annual conference in December 2013 in the New Jersey and New York area with the help of some doctors from the CMANA Board. Following that conference, we were involved in outreach events in New Jersey, New York, Atlanta, Florida, and other states and participated in homeless shelter services where they helped with pre-HIV screening, diabetes screening, and high blood pressure tests.

We focus our service on spiritual matters in addition to our health outreach by sharing the message of the Bible with those we meet and treat. We also organize events for students to educate them on how to serve through healthcare and offer spiritual help to whoever they meet.

Students are also invited to join different mission trips throughout the year. For more information about these opportunities, visit the missions page.

As the student chapter of CMANA, we strive to use our knowledge and skills to improve the health of our communities. We serve the locally underserved as well as our brethren in impoverished areas around the world, spreading the good news of Christ’s love and hope. As Christ took the time to heal not only physical but also spiritual ailments, we hope to provide holistic care by allowing Christ to work in the hearts of our patients.

Thanks so much for all your hard work!
