Dr. Marie Hanna, Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the President-Elect of the American Academy of Pain Medicine. Dr. Hanna received multiple awards and was nominated in 2017 as one of the Top Successful Egyptian Women outside Egypt .

Dr. Marie Hanna is one of the CMANA Board members and is in charge of local Chapters. She started the first successful CMANA local Chapter in Maryland in 2018 and has been helping other states to start their own chapters.  A chapter is a local organization of people that are interested in furthering the purposes of CMANA. Its focus is cultivating fellowship and mentorship among Coptic healthcare members within the state. CMANA local chapters follow the mission, vision, and bylaws of the organization.

Currently CMANA has many active local chapters including Maryland , New York, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Dr. Hanna hopes to help every state start their own chapter and empower more mentorship and fellowship among Coptic clinicians.
